How to grow weed in pots?

I have moved onto the big pots which reduce the rate of water loss and I have added the soil, water and seed but the plant isn't growing. Is there something I'm missing?

You need lights. You’ll not only need to buy lights, but also something to hold the lights up. I forget what the item is called, you can get them from the warehouse though.
