you can remap your controller yourself
like right stick WASD, left stick mouse, RB right click, RT left click etc, the game do not have that many input

Sure, but it's nice (and better) when the game just natively supports a controller.

Well to be fair some people do prefer to use controller for certain games on PC cuz it's easier for them so having controller support makes it makes it accessible to more people if that makes sense.

I also can only use a controller to games on pc, because I have issues with using a keyboard and a mouse for anything. I have a wireless logitech keyboard with a trackpad like one on a laptop if I need to do anything on a pc, but I use a iPad to mainly go on the internet because using a touchscreen is easier for me.

And I am not one of the so called PC MASTER RACE that sits in a chair on a desk and be 2 feet from a little monitor, as I sit like 7 or 8 feet away and play games on a nice and big 65in UHDTV.

Also games on pc should all have controller support nowadays no matter what, because having the option for those that have to or want to play with controller can and it gets more people to buy the game.
So really there is no excuse not to have controller support in games even on pc.

Proper controller support is hard, with all the mouse heavy actions in the game, it's also non-trivial how to implement it. Plus the game is early access, so unimplemented features are to be expected.

I’m using a controller to play and just used Steam Input. I chose the highest rated WASD mapping. 99% no issue. Only had to change it so recognize holding E so I can empty my trash can. Haven’t had any other issues with controller mapping.

Not necessarily I mean an analog stick specifically the left one isn't that much different from a mouse it's just a matter of they need to find time to implement controller support I mean with steam input it does help with the wait but not everybody is willing to do that if you know what I'm trying to say.

I'm sure adding controller support is easier than coding the multiplayer they've already added. I do see the game adding lots of features over time, so I'm sure it'll be a thing.

BS controller support isnt hard. There is games out there where the UI is more complex and they have controller support. Thats just a stupid excuse!
