Version mismatch error

I got this game for My girl and I but we cant play due to a version mismatch error even tho we both have the full version and the latest update installed please help

Try to restart Steam, for some reason this happened with me and my cousin. once steam has restarted i was able to see the patch.

If that doesnt help try to verify game's cache.

also have this error, try inviting through the lobby instead of in-game. worked for me
