I cant get him at all, he isnt on the map or in a building

If I remember correctly, he's got a certain schedule, gotta wait until like afternoon I think to grab him. (Certain NPCs have no home you can goto to knock on the door and have to wait to find them while they're travelling to/from work)

Though, NPC pathing can mess up and they get stuck, doing a full restart is the only way to fix it. (save game and reload, preferably after ending a day)
