How to get chemists to automatically refill chemistry station?
Is that even possible? if not what's the alternative?

I think packaging is the only alternative for that right now to restock them but I have not organized a large scale lab yet. They really should have the supplies option like the botanists do
Using the clipboard select a Packer/Handler. Set a route from supply shelf with product to chemistry table. The table itself has a destination route setting for product it makes.

Tried the handlers before, they just fill the slots with the same item, they don't even it out to match the recipe requirements

My handlers can't even load the mixer with weed and other ingredients, they are really buggy

Yeah, I use hadlers for that. Man, сhemists are paid $300 a day, can only manage 3 stations, and cannot supply their own stations. They are just push buttons and chilling all day. What a life.

Handlers are bugged tho .
They are to dumb to restock the right items , if a shelf has 3 stacks of pseudo , they will just stack 3 stacks of pseudo in the lab .
Which means that your chemist gets paid to nothing until you fix it yourself.
Yeah all the workers need SOME level of AI, the current setup is just not plausible and is WAY too cumbersome right now

Simple, make shelves with 1 type of item and assign its path to the station to use. It requires an handler for this. They'll move the items, the chemist works them and then assign the station destination to another shelf so the chemist puts the finished product there.

Nope, the first handler reaching the station fills it with same stuff not taking different stuff from different shelves.

That works when the slot itself expects a specific item type (like packaging station expecting a drug and container, or a mixer expecting drug and an additive). But for the chemistry table - each of 3 slots will accept any type of 3 items for meth, so... Handler will just stick 3 stacks of the same meth ingredient in each of 3 slots

I pre-load the stations before the handlers get to it. So long as the shelf is full, and the station doesn't completely run out of something, they will stock properly. If it runs out, you'll have to load it again. my biggest problem is the chemists passing meth from one mixer to another and deleting the product in the process. I can't run long chains to end up with top dollar meth with them. They always delete the finished product somewhere along the line.
