Are the cars worth buying?

Been playing most of the game without one and have recently moved operations out to the barn. i've only unlocked up to Downtown so far and have tried to keep the customers for my own deals as close to base as possible. What are even the benefits of owning a car? and is it worth buying one?

I have since bought the van and a skateboard upon the suggestions. So far both have been a great purchase :D

It's basically moving around a bit less freely than on foot in exchange for extra inventory slots. It's nice to keep the illegal stuff in the car in case something bad happens. You can even trade with NPC's directly from your car's inventory if the car is close enough. (EDIT: you still have to walk out of the car, but you keep access to the car's inventory for dealing)

The best option right now is probably the 9k van. It's not very fast, but it has 16 inventory slots I think? Anyway. That's like 3x as many as most cars that are way more expensive.

I bought the van, no regret.

I use the skateboard. fast, mobile can 'exit/enter' easy and quick as.. no inventory sure, but SOOO convenient

i tried the skateboard in the demo but wasn't sold on it. I think i just need to get used to getting on and off and ill be fine

anything other than the van no. Golden skateboard is the best way of moving around and the van is only worth it because of it 16 space inventory

Once you get to the barn you should be making enough that buying the van is chump change and the van helps A LOT with moving everything over in one go especially if you're solo. Skateboard is good to have on you when you don't need the van or just in general.

Van is also useful when you need to get A LOT of product, you can make two deliveries then take the van to whatever store and also load it up to maximize the amount of mixer/product/item you're getting. The game does get to a point where you are constantly needing a ridiculous amount of supplies constantly. Gotta keep the empire rolling.

I use van to transport ingredients for mixing from shop to my place... For travelling around the city golden skateboard is best

but I can’t use it half the time because of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ roadblock.

It’s far, far superior to just get deliveries.

Vehicles suck I wish I could sell them.

Not so sure about that. Deliveries are limited in size plus the time it takes to get them. Van definitely superior for stocking up.

For me the best way to move around it weed with anti-gravity, athletic and energising effect. Just mix OJ kush with mouthwash, cuke and energy drink.
