none of that is a time saver as you will allways use Botanists. doing it manually is a massive time investment and totaly unneccessary. the dispensers in this game are pretty useless actually. it might be okay if they would actually work automatically but they dont. just hire a botanist. one botanist will take care of 8 plants completely automatically.
That's not in the least bit obnoxious.
This is a game where you level up, unlock gear, level up some more and unlock new gear, replace old gear with new gear for higher productivity/profit, rinse and repeat.
Pretty much every game with a similar progression system does it the same way. The trimmers, you were supposed to have thrown those away when you get the electric trimmers. Watering can wasn't really meant to be kept once you could afford sprinklers. The packing/mixing stations, no reason to continue using them when the mk2 versions are available.
And then, it could be a couple weeks or months from now, there'll be something introduced that'll make the chemistry station, lab oven and cauldron obsolete. If any new equipment for mushrooms, MDMA's, heroin or the other stuff like edibles and crack is added, odds are there'll be mk2 versions of those as well. Brick press too, probably something that can press five bricks at a time.
