Employees are woefully slow, even when they aren't bugged.
Employees feel a bit too expensive for how little work they actually accomplish in a given day. Their animations are far too long, and they don't use tools you set up such as the automatic waterers and soil fillers, making them take even longer. You can assign 8 plants, but realistically they can only manage 4 and will still do it far, far slower then you as the player can. My production speed actually increased by firing my botanist and just doing it myself, even while juggling all of the other tasks myself because the botanist is just that slow. Now, I don't expect them to be faster then the player, but they should at least use the automatic waterers and soil fillers, that is an investment in money and space that is completely wasted by employees not utilizing them.

I mean of course they would be abit slower than the player, and the point is to simply have it automated and not need to do everything yourself. You can of course, but that isn't the point of advancing and stuff. What I do agree with is that the packer is incredibly slow, and doing a weird animation and packing only one at a time even with an automated packing machine. The botanist as example is pretty good and I was satisfied with their work. But yeah it obviously needs a bit work, and it will get patched very surely.

They aren't a "bit" slower then the player. They are about 20% as fast as the player. It's incredibly inadequate. They are so slow, they actually get in the way and slow things down, because in the time that I'm waiting for them to finish their painfully long animation on one pot, I could of done 6.

tbh youu still make tons of profit even with workers, except when the damn handler makes the stuff disappear from the package machine or shelf

Yeah, I mean fair. IT's actually hard to NOT make a profit in this game. But I get annoyed that I can keep four dealers and myself supplied for an entire day with only 8 grow pots going by myself, but a botanist employee can't even come close to half that efficiency even with me helping, they actually slowed me down by being there. I technically don't lose anything, but it just bothers me getting those "im out of product, boss" messages because my employees are slacking.
