How do I drop something I no longer want?

Use the discard box in the bottom right. It is red. Take the item (watering can for example) and drag it over to the box and it'll go away after a few seconds.

We should be able to drop items into the world. Or at least certain items. Early on I found a bat but didn't want to hold onto it. That's when I learned discard means destroy. I was sad.
