Host left the game
Every once in a while, i randomly get kicked out of a multiplayer game, and it says "host left the game", it then deletes all the items in my inventory and ends up being very annoying.. any fix ? ty

Same thing happening to me, i cant even play with my friends because i will lose everything in my inventory so I am a risk. kicks me every 5 mins randomly
In the same boat, get to keep the baseball bat though.

I used a VPN to go to the same country the host is from and it has worked so far, the longest session without a crash. Seems like a VPN keeps the connection steady?

I'm in the same country as my friend and every two minutes I have the same problem.

I'm in the same country as my friend and every two minutes I have the same problem.
Try using a VPN to play, it might not be needed to switch your country but it might stabilize the connection somehow.
if anything, at least you will either confirm or refute using a VPN as a solution to this problem
Any fix yet? Literally playing with my sister on the same wi-fi network and it does the same thing to me

Playing with my girlfriend 5 feet away on the same network and this keeps happening. I got invited back in, turned around and got disconnected. It's unplayable with this happening. I really hope they fix it soon because I really enjoy playing with her

It's a optimization issue not your connection to the network. No a VPN doesn't help. There is no fix. I deal with the same issue and frame stutter because it's extremely poorly optimized and TVG shouldn't of released this GARBO state 3 months from the demo dropping XD

I found that this was a problem because of the game failing to cloud save with Steam. To check if this happened to you, click on schedule 1 in your library, and if it is working well, it will say cloud status up to date; if not, it will say something along the lines of failed to sync. To fix this click on Steam in the top left and go to settings. Then press downloads and scroll down till you see clear cache. Do this and it should be working fine.

Any update on this? Please give me some good news!
We are having the same issue on the same WiFi and I thought it was because of the fact we are both using steam decks
The more I read the more I'm noticing it is happening to others on normal pcs
