Fps issues.

This game's performance is wacky because it will run fine 80-90+ fps in certain areas and then dip down to 50 fps and the frame timing feels horrible, and when i take a peak at my pc's usage its only using like 30-40% of my gpu and cpu. The settings also do not matter or really help at all either is anyone else having these issues? Or does anyone have any fixes?

My specs for those curious:
GPU: RTX 4060
CPU Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: 16gb 2400mhz

I can run monster hunter wilds, the new atomfall, ect all sorts of demanding games so to see this game running at these frames is disapointing.

I have a beast of a computer and it turns out my game was running on my integrated graphics this whole time. I had to go into the setting and disable my integrated graphics in order to fix it.

my cpu was one that specifically does not have an integrated gpu so it cant be that, I even checked in windows to see what gpu it was using and its only choice is the 4060

i am on win 11 and have no issues. however, YOU need to move soon to windows 11 cause the steam client will end in a few months windows 10 support+ you wont get any updates anymore soon either. =P

we all know windows 11 had a rough start when it came to game stuff but, they got it solved after 4 months XD.

Also recently windows 11 had issues on several games that had to be addressed. So I dunno wtf you on about, but I am tired of your dumb ass replies and blocking you.

im on windows 11 and havent had any problems with it so far, i changed to it about 3 months ago and its been fine ever since. so i think it is an at launch thing.

but windows 11 or not the fps issue is still there

I was having a similar issue game started fine then got real bad the fix I found was cleartrash in the console and my game went back to normal

All because its early access does not mean i should just throw my hands up in the air and not care. Discussions like these usually help fellow users, and possibly help the developer.

Thats not what im saying, what im saying is it IS early access and there IS going to be performance issues that will be ironed out. That IS the point of early access.

Also having 100+ trash items in your house because you dont clean is also going to cause your game to run worse, as it would in literally any other game.

Didnt Nvidia have driver issues crashing and stuff recently? they say roll back to December but my friend was still crashing at that time so he went to early August driver and no crashes. his is nvidia 4070. no crashes on my 1070 latest driver and windows 10 22h2.

Has to be a driver issue or operating system maybe if on windows 11. Try validating game files.

I've got a 7900 XTX and just started having these weird frame time issues and like lag spikes almost. FPS have been fine this whole time. My steam launcher did a small update when I launched the game today, I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Quick add- I am not playing on the Beta. I did try that so see if it would fix the issue and no luck. Tried window mode and no luck either. Checked my drivers, there was an update. Did the updates, restarted and still no luck.

Try disabling steam overlay, fixed it for me so far.
