Fps issues.

This game's performance is wacky because it will run fine 80-90+ fps in certain areas and then dip down to 50 fps and the frame timing feels horrible, and when i take a peak at my pc's usage its only using like 30-40% of my gpu and cpu. The settings also do not matter or really help at all either is anyone else having these issues? Or does anyone have any fixes?

My specs for those curious:
GPU: RTX 4060
CPU Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: 16gb 2400mhz

I can run monster hunter wilds, the new atomfall, ect all sorts of demanding games so to see this game running at these frames is disapointing.

Yeah I really haven't had an issue up until today. Super choppy and rubber band like.

Specs:
GPU: RTX 3070 Ti
CPU: 12th Gen Intel i5-12600k
RAM : 32GB

I ran into this problem too. I changed from full screen to windowed mode and the performance problem was resolved.

i have only an rtx 2060 super and i have no issues running this game.
tho i have the double amount of ram then you. tho, this shouldnt be an issue.
yes, i play on high settings aswell.

furthermore is 60fps for a singple player game enough.
you´re not playing counter strike & co. where every frame matters.
so, get your bloodbags for your eyes straight. OR fixx your PC rig cause, i have nowhere fps issues in this game. i have always my stable 60fps to which it is set. and my PC rig is way weaker then yours.

I'm having no issues, Ultra settings 4k, set my FPS max to 60 cause GPU does not need to work harder and just heat up faster.

RTX 3070ti-FE
I5-12600k
32gb ddr4 at 3600mhz
SSD.

Has to be a driver issue or operating system maybe if on windows 11. Try validating game files.

i am on win 11 and have no issues. however, YOU need to move soon to windows 11 cause the steam client will end in a few months windows 10 support+ you wont get any updates anymore soon either. =P

dont blame it on windows 11.
we all know windows 11 had a rough start when it came to game stuff but, they got it solved after 4 months XD.

Is Steam going to stop supporting Windows 10?

Windows 10's support is scheduled to end on Oct. 14 2025 on Steam, with Microsoft later having a paid support subscription. Over 96.40% of Steam users are on Windows, while MacOS and Linux have a negligible share in comparison.

so, everyone who still sits on windows 10 should hop to 11 or else you will get soon trouble to even start steam in the first place =P.
