Do all coop players need to buy the full game, or just the host?
I recently got to play the demo with my friends and we were wondering if one person buying the game would be enough for us to play the whole game.

It does not look like this dev has done that OP, it is in early access so maybe see if you can see if the dev is interested in doing that.

I did notice all the people calling you names roached out already. :winter2019joyfultearsyul:

Why would you think only the host needs to buy? The demo and full game are completely different
Everyone needs to own the full game to play together, kind of like every other multiplayer game on planet earth

Silly question by OP. But your statement also isn't true.

Some games require the host to buy the game and they can invite friends who don't own it to play with them. EA's Split Fiction is one example

Not the dumbest, but it is up there
Have you ever seen a steam game where only the host has to own the game ?
Nah, me neither, so that's the dumbest of dumbest question ever seen.

I know for a fact this is something some devs do. Just a few I could find in about 10 minutes of looking/owning already.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Uses the demo with a Buddy pass. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1056960/Wolfenstein_Youngblood/

Midnight Murder Club This one it is straight up a free guest pass. https://store.steampowered.com/app/3228480/Midnight_Murder_Club_Guest_Pass_Edition/

It takes two. Does the same thing as above. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2995920/It_Takes_Two_Friends_Pass/

Split Fiction. Friend pass is all you have to DL to play. As someone else pointed out
