there are ways to counter this. you get money laundering that can also be used for storage. i use the car wash for weed the post office for meth. not got coke yet i have money for the warehouse but im automating and streamlining the weed and meth first.
60 hours in and really enjoying it. yes there are bugs but as long as you set up correctly they are minimised. (don't rearange stuff while workers are working etc wait till 4am) dev/s are pumping out patches and game has so much potential. combat is there but its very easy to avoid the cops, i dont carry a gun or bat unless im pick pocketing customers:P great game highly recommended
fun with the hole family cooking meth 10/10 would cut all buds again
Honest opinion I have about 30 + hours into the game. I do enjoy the concept of the game being able to run your own drug empire but at its current state for the drug aspect its in a great state....BUT
if youre not into sims then youre going to get bored very quickly. The game is simple and simple is good but at the current police and "other gang" it lacks heavily. the game is a silly stupid drug sim that will most likely last for a few months. unless they decide to heavily update the way the world works around you. other than that great game sold dark piss.
Gangs aren’t present. Police are an inconvenience rather than something to avoid. The max storage size doesn’t seem sufficient enough. Which I’m sure will get tuned up overtime
Overall, engaging and addicting gameplay. Fun / plenty amount of content as it stands right now, and plenty more to come based on the roadmap listed in a news post on the 24th of March.
So as with any job sim, you get to level up or unlock new stuff and that is your "progress". But once again, it's not just "well, this chair is made from silver instead of iron, congrats, you can sell it at a higher price", the whole process of making the product changes. Because weed is not meth, and it's not cocaine.
It's overall a very ambitious game for a small studio like this, it's still in EA and I already got my money's worth. Sure it can improve, sure it's not perfect but that's the point of EA. I've played games out of EA that had many more problems than this one and were not interesting at all.
It's just a fun game, if you're fine with some money grind do yourself a favor and go try the free demo.
Some downsides are inventory management, you don't have a lot of space and no way to get more other then vehicles. Also not really many threats, no rival gangs and the police are just an inconvenience. That could change in the future but right now you're pretty much unimpeded.
I mean, it is a 20 dollar game though.
I think the game right now is worth for this low price and I am pretty sure that it will get better since the dev man now has money and a reason to improve it. For a launch of early access I find this game more fun and polished then other AAA games *cough cough* Cyberpunk 2077.
Play the demo, if you like the demo then you are going to be hooked later on, at least I am.
