Visit Steam cloud storage and find total number of files for "Schedule I"
https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage
For example, it should be between 100 to 2000+
Go to save file location on PC where you want to sync.
Press Win + R to launch the Run utility.
Type %username%/AppData/LocalLow/TVGS/Schedule I into the box and hit Enter to open the folder directly
Check total number of files in folder - every sync from Steam creates 50-200 new files and you must press resync on Steam client as much as possible to reach the same number on your target PC.
There are 2 issues:
1. devs must learn how to pack save data into binary format to avoid this pain in a$$
2. Steam must fetch all files without timeout and limit per cloud sync
I tested this solution on GFN, Boostdroid and my local PC.
P.S. I had the same issue before with multiple games, just keep press "cloud sync"
My home screen and save file there show exactly the same thing though, $37k net worth on both, 12 hrs played. Not sure what's up, but I hope they figure out a fix.
This is because devs create 1000+ files for every world object: cars, rooms, inventory, actions, etc. in the game. Therefore, you should erase the target save folder "%username%/AppData/LocalLow/TVGS/Schedule I", which you plan to synchronize with Steam cloud.
then the game play and save always on my pc, but I can still play it from my laptop.
Nice one. I will give it a try.
But I have to keep my PC on, and try it from office laptop.
What I do right now, is copy the local save file after every session and move it to the other machine.
I paste it then I open steam and sync.
I get same progress exactly.
Otherwise, different inventory, and things will be upside down.
