Cloud Saves

I have a feeling something is wrong with the cloud saves,

1: in the discussion section here there are some comments about glitches/missing item ect when using cloud saves between 2 computers. I myself have not tried playing on 2 computers with cloud files so i can't back this one up. (yet)

2: i myself notice it takes a long time to upload cloud saves even with fast internet (1 gig)
When i check the steam cloud save is says Schedule 1 has 1038 files in the cloud save with a size of 949.89 KB. I only have 2 save files going on right now. I bet those high amount of files are the culprit of the long upload time.


1 other game that has this issue is Powerwash simulator, with 1 save file over 3000 files in the cloud, that one takes a long time as well.

Yes mine is bugged between my laptop and desktop, they didn't sync saves even though steam said it was up to date so idk. Im just making manual copies when I travel between PCs atm.

Yep. Cloud files are bugged. From my home PC to work PC. My home is windows 10 and work is windows 11… dont know if that has something to do with it

Edit: also just checked. I have 1142 files for schedule 1 whereas most other games have 1. Something up…

Best for now i to leave cloud safe off? and use Walters solution to manualy transfer the save file,

Seeing you also have 1142 files gives me the feeling that indeed something is not right and that the big amount of files is causing these issues right now :(

How do you make manual copies? I want to play on a different pc.

yeah I just went from my laptop to my pc at home, and I had most of my stuff but for some reason all the new drugs i made didnt save and the worker I bought didnt save which is weird but i think everything else was fine

This is a known bug he says hes working on.

Playing on 2 different PCs (especially if one has windows 10 and the other has 11, tho not always) it leads to things disappearing and progress being reset.

+1 laptop to desktop. I've seen this cause items shelves product etc all being duped. It's not a GOOD thing though. This is more work to try and rectify the situation as it drops old thing underneath new things and it gets really weird. Sad though as this is borderline game breaking for someone that needs to use cloud save to play on multiple pcs

Anyone know of this supposed fix being worked on and if dev has stated an ETA for it. I might need to stop playing until then

Hello, I had the same exact problem where steam cloud combined one save form two days ago and the last resent one I have. Now the whole bunglow is in shambles and I dont know what to do. It put me back lvl/money/unlocking wise but also kept all the new things I have. I dont konw how to describe it english is not the first language

Same exact thing happened to me. Old plants sitting inside beds and chemist stations. But I actually gained money and gained some weed, but lost some meth. Cloud save is definitely messed up right now. Funny though because I’ve played between deck and desktop and never had an issue until today.

Happened to me too. I played on the laptop and got some lvls and unlocked new ingredients, created new mix with them... Then saved, went the next day and played on my pc- now im 2 lvls lower, cant buy those new ingredient.... But have the new amph and weed mixes I've created as a proof to myself I didn't imagine the whole thing lol.
Please for the love of god fix this

Hope this issue gets fixed soon. Id like to play on my pc while home, and on deck while on break at work, but with this bug I'm stuck playing on deck to prevent the issue.
