Issues with offering deals?

When I offer deals to most of the people around the map the option fades away and the customer just says "hey", no menu appears and I have to ESC out of the interaction.

Anyone else having this issue?

Getting this as well. Sucks because when i try to go back into making a deal they say a deal was already offered and wont let me.

Same here. Wasn't happening until the last patch, and it seems to happen more frequently the more days I play in one session

I don't think so, because this will happen even if I knock on someone's door and make them an offer when they're not on their way walking somewhere

Yeah it doesn't have to do with the dealers, it happens to about 80% of the people walking down the street. but for some reason if I restart the game, for the first few minutes it doesn't do it.

So far, restarting the game after every time I sleep has prevented this issue. It's a horribly inconvenient work around, and I hope they fix it...but this does seem to work.

what ive noticed is that this only really happens if you try to offer a free sample two days in a row, ie: the person didnt become a customer, if you offer another free sample thats when it happens. testing to see if waiting a day in between makes a difference...

It happens with free samples but also with selling directly to people on the street (offering deals).

I've honestly never seen this issue happen with the "offer a free sample" interface. It always happens with the "offer a deal" interface when randomly approaching an existing customer.

So after more experimentation, restarting the game client isn't necessary...just quit to the main menu and reload after every time you sleep. I've started doing this and it hasn't happened since.
