Why is this so popular?

I don't get it. I watched some gameplay and it seems so boring. Driving around with nothing happening, picking up dead drops, shopping for junk.

Am I missing something?

Is this one of those "chill" kind of games? I'm not into that.

Solo there is not much action happening no, the real 'fun' in this game is mainly the coop.

The people like me who like to play this solo are mostly in for the sim/management part.
Im pretty sure ill get bored after like 20-30 hours or if everything unlocked before that, just like with the other simulator/management games :)

Only 3 hours on record for me, but yes imo its a 'chill' game. Some of us like repetitive task driven chill games. It lets us sort of shut our brain off while having some fun. If that's not your type of game maybe you just shouldn't get it.

It is a co-op game where you try to optimize your set up and sell the drugs to maximize your Money gains. so it is mostly one of those farming and optimization games while you can play with your friends.
The thing that makes it more fun with friends is the fact, that you can name the drugs yourself and the effects those drugs have on the user. At some point you might encounter all the people walking around with glowing eyes.

It is a kind of chill game, you do not have any time pressure or anything, but if the basic concept is not for you, then you should stay away from this game.
