Difficulty

I love roguelikes and games that make you pay for your mistakes. What happens if you die or get caught by the cops ? Can you get 25 to life because your operation was so big ? Trying to bust your coop friend out of jail (lawyers or other way) ? Or is it just respawn and keep going with no real penalty ?

I am in the early game and sold weed while the cops stood next to me :D I got a fine and they took anything illegal I had with me which seemd appropiate.

I have not died yet.

But the cops caught me *cough cough* a few times. They take all you carry that is illegal and you have to pay a fine too. So you can lose thousands of dollars worth or drugs if you are not careful. That can be up to 1-2 days of production lost, plus the cost of the ingredients. So you DON'T want to get caught. Edit: or at least, if you risk being caught, you want to not be carrying too much.

Yea in early game makes sense, what about if they find you with several million dollars and kilos of cocaine/ crack and the rest ?

Or if the Cartel finds you ? I mean they tend to kill and take over your operation.

Cop AI is kind of bad. They will arrest and cuff very quickly but in combat they're really not smart. They'll meander around and chase you but won't use lethal force even while you're hacking away at their partners with a machete.

lol ok, I'll wait a bit before purchasing but looks promising
