Can't join friends?

So I just got the game, my friend who also has the game- and has previously played this with someone else- sent me an invite to join their session. It kept not letting me join, saying there was an error something something: no license?

I was sent an invite to their discord server to report there, but that apparently didn't work either- though that might've been a me issue? Not sure on that one.

Try restart steam and / or your pc maybe. Thought I heard once that, that fixed the issue for someone with a game.

I've done that, but nothing's worked. I decided to uninstall the game and settle for just watching my friends play together :|

Multiplayer is broken! Unable to join suddenly! Restarting steam helped. For now.

The first time I played with a friend I had a hard time joining the game. I didn't get any errors but was stuck in an infinite loading screen. It worked when my friend left his friend's game and then invited me from the main menu. I was able to join his lobby like that and then loading went as expected.

None of this has worked for me. ive done two saves and after a day no one can join. getting very annoying

I have a fix. If the spawn area is obstructed. No players can spawn in your world for me. It was a bed that was placed in the space was too small for anybody else to spawn when I remove the bed. Everybody else could join just fine.

Doesnt work even on a new game for me if there are any other solutions lmk
