Black screen after prologue?
I've tried starting the game twice now, but each time I go to bed and get the cutscene of driving away, I get an infinite black screen. Anyone else having this problem? Skipping the prologue allowed my to play the game though.

I had the same issue, tried waiting for a bit to and it never loads the next scene. Kinda hard to get that achievement when it does that :steamfacepalm:
It was the same for me. I had start a new game - since it was not possible to save the game before - but it worked. Don't worry, you won't lose too much game time.

I just ended up having to start a fresh save and skip the prologue, retried a few times and it still would hang up in the same spot...

I got the exact same thing as OP, also twice.

So I started a 3rd game, checking the "skip prologue" box. :steamsad:
Same, also got a black screen after prologue.

Same here. Manually deleted all config files of the game on my pc and reinstalled the game, still softlocks itself after the prologue cutscene.
Bruh i just want the achievement

IKR, going to have to start a new save file once this all gets ironed out unless he decides to trigger it for us all that have the issue

Just posted this to another thread because I had the same problem. I've been able to fix it though I'm not 100% sure what caused it (but my best guess would be the graphics settings).

All I did differently was:
1) Change Graphics Settings from "Ultra" back to "High" (which was the default)
2) After the Day-Summary screen clicked <Enter> (cursor was still visible so i assumed it might still have the dialog open in the background)

fixed it. enabled console commands in the pause menu and entered the command "endtutorial" and got the black screen to go away!
