How did so many people find out about this game?

100k for an early access, was a big streamer playing it? The develepoer is complelety unknown, so how did he get so much attention?

Yes, but the question remains why? According to steamdb, this game had less than 2.5k followers at the beginning of March. On release day, it had more than 26k.

Word of mouth, some creators, and the Steam sales page, where it sits as the highest selling game on Steam rn. This attention is deserved though, and I'm sure most of this success is actual word of mouth.

when you make something good, word will get around. From that, all it takes is someone with a large audience to free advertise your game.

What is DDS2?

Drug Dealer Sim 2.
Its a S1 wannabe from the scam artist publisher known as Playway SA. All of their games are garbage, low effort. asset flip cash grab scams, and the devs are no better. They have no problem lying about their game and gas lighting the players when they get called out.
Its a huge ♥♥♥♥ show.
