Rubber Banding/Stuttering

My game all of a sudden started to rubber band in single player. I have a very nice computer so its definitely not due to graphics, I also messed with them just to make sure.

Im curious if anyone else had this happening and if so, how do you fix it? I cant even walk around my house mixing things without it making my eyes hurt.

Any Info at all would be awesome!

Just tried the demo and I am getting the same thing. FPS is over a 100 but it's "rubberbanding" like you said.

this just started happening to me too after booting up my save

EDIT: It's due to having a lot of trash. I had like 10 bags of trash in my apartment bc I was lazy. I pushed through the stuttering to get rid of it all, saved the game, rebooted my save and it was fixed. Let me know if this solves the problem for you guys as well.

Same issue here. started a new game. and all of a sudden massive rubberbanding.
Had 0 issues with my last save

I hade stuttering issue when loading a save game. but it got fixed when i turned off v sync

Try adjusting the target frame rate to match your monitor.

I locked my FPS at 90 in the game settings, disabled v-sync, and set it to fullscreen windowed. That solved all of the crazy stuttering I was seeing.

i threw trash all around the map it would be impossible to clean up any other fixes

same issue but after 45 seconds it crahses ı cant do anything like collecting the trash

i figured it out for me i had to fire the cleaning lady

try both fullscreen versions. make sure your resolution and target framerate match your screen. and above all else, ensure v-sync is disabled. this along with removing the cleaner eventually resolved the issue.

there is something wrong with the cleaner! just have to remove them nothing else.

there is something wrong with the cleaner! just have to remove them nothing else.

After trying everything listed here and deleting the text file for all the trash in the entire game, the only thing that finally fixed my issue was to fire every single employee I had at all locations. The second I fired my final employee my game was back to normal. You can always just add them all back through the console. Here's a list to help out with that if needed.

Barn:
addemployee cleaner barn
addemployee botanist barn
addemployee handler barn
addemployee chemist barn

Bungalow:
addemployee cleaner bungalow
addemployee botanist bungalow
addemployee handler bungalow
addemployee chemist bungalow

Docks Warehouse:
addemployee cleaner dockswarehouse
addemployee botanist dockswarehouse
addemployee handler dockswarehouse
addemployee chemist dockswarehouse

Sweatshop:
addemployee cleaner sweatshop
addemployee botanist sweatshop
addemployee handler sweatshop
addemployee chemist sweatshop

[Why]

in my specific case the issue was caused by pots being inaccessible or something. i cant be entirely certain ab the reason, but i was setting up the farm in the barn and it was half-finished. once i removed all the pots and placed them in a accessible-by-human manner stuttering disappeared. what helped me is making a save file backup and deleting objects/npcs from my houses 1 by 1
