With a mixing set up you have to spend SO MUCH TIME AND MONEY stocking up all the ingredients.
Automating a simple operation to grow max quality Grandaddy Purp was the best decision I've made in this game
(I set the price @700 and everyone on the map texts me with offers of at least 800, most of them offer 850-900. Some of the richer ones will buy 2 or 3 but that's generally only the final region unlock people)
It required 2 botanists, 3 chemists and 3 handlers to automate the entire cocaine -> final product and a single trash can that covers the entire growing/cauldron setup.
8 cocaine pots and 8 drying racks, 2 cauldrons, 2 ovens, 8 MK2 mixing stations. On the output I put the final product on a shelf, and the handler route can be changed to go to either the bagging station, or the brick station, depending on if I want bags for personal deals, or bricks for the dealers.
The only part I have to do manually is constantly order more addy/eneregy/gas/banana/cuke/iodine/battery/doughnut from the stores, and move them from the trucks to their designated storage areas. And I need to do similar for the 2 botonists that each have their own shelf for supplies.
Pots are set to output to drying racks, drying racks are set to output to cauldorns, cauldrons are set to output to ovens, ovens are set to output to a shelf. A handler is set to load raw cocaine to the first mixer, and the first ingredient. Each mixer is set to output to the next until the last one which outputs to a shelf. The ingredients are pulled from each shelf to each mixer by handlers, and the handlers load baggies and the finished product into the bagging station. When I want bricks I just redirect the product to the brick maker which outputs to another shelf.
The worst part of all of this really is that the workers get stuck so I find myself just reloading the save after I sleep each night to free up anyone that is stuck.
I would like the option to set up handlers to only put specific items in specific shelves so that I could set up a bulk "intake" (from the deliveries) and have the items loaded into the correct shelves.
