So you probably have to replay it, since the game is supposed to be more or less realistic, you shouldn't be able to change your skin color after starting it.

when i started the game i made my character and then it kicked me and now i have 5 saves and cant change?

Afterwards you already say you have 5 different advanced games that you cannot restart, so if you really want to change skin, I think you should simply restart a game with which you are less advanced
