Haha now that I reread it, it does come off a bit trolly but nah! I've been a huge fan and supporter of this game since the demo first came out
If this game keeps up the momentum.... sky's the limit! All it needs IMO for future sake is gang/turf wars, or hell, even PVP mode where you and the crew takes on another one for town domination. Don't slam me on the PVP mode... I understand that would take a lot of the players commitment but also on the dev side of things too. I picture a Rust style weekly wipe, if that makes sense. Would be awesome though for what this is going for. It would literally be a knock-off Breaking Bad mixed in with the old Mafia games from back in the day....so dope, so good!

Glad i wasnt the only one. i havnt anticipated a game release this much since skyrim was announced
And someone around here was saying over on the DDS2 forums that Schedule 1 ISN'T a DDS-killer because it's just a copycat... I guess that comment aged about as well as milk, considering DDS1's all-time peak was 7.5k, DDS2's all-time peak was 9k, and Schedule 1's peak so far is 61k (at least last I checked). Not bad for a game that was only released 5 hours ago, compared to a series that's been around for 5 years.

Keep up the hard work Tyler, you're doing great!

142k all-time peak in just 2 days! Go S1, go!

I guess that comment aged about as well as milk,

I can still enjoy DDS, I can still enjoy DDS2, I'll probably enjoy Narcos when that comes out and I can enjoy Schedule 1...and Weed Shop 3 until 4 comes out have you ever wanted to sell weed to aliens? Or get paid to run people over on a skateboard?

I'm kinda feeling like a winner right now, might want to hold off on the celebration...or just celebrate something else.

I never said Weed Shop was good or bad. In fact, I never even mentioned that series at all. Where did that even come from? Because it looks like left field to me. WAY out in left field, in fact. I was talking about DDS versus Schedule 1 but since you've dragged Weed Shop into this, I've played both 2 and 3 and think they're both pretty decent. I still prefer Schedule 1 now that it's available, but that's me. Did you know Weed Shop didn't even hit 3k between the two offerings available on Steam? I'd say Schedule 1 is still on top, sorry. In fact, if you go by the numbers, even combined between DDS1, DDS2, Weed Shop 2, and Weed Shop 3, the all-time player peak numbers come up just shy of 20k to Schedule 1's 142k. Statistically speaking, Schedule 1 is the better game out of all three of the franchises, sorry.

I never said you couldn't enjoy what in my opinion is the inferior of the two franchises (DDS), and I never said you can't enjoy this game either. No offense though, you're acting like a bit of a hypocrite as you've raced to DDS's defense on the DDS2 forums to the point of dumping all over Schedule 1 by calling it a copycat and claiming it's just another "failed Minecraft killer" (which, again, aged about as well as milk if you look at the numbers), then you raced over here to defend Schedule 1 and start comparing it to Call of Duty toppling Modern Warfare. I'm sorry, but you're literally contradicting yourself with those two conflicting statements. By all means enjoy both all you'd like. I honestly hope you do. I hope you get your money's worth out of all of the games we've been discussing. However you shouldn't defend DDS on its boards to the extent of dumping on S1, then rush to these boards to defend S1 and dump all over DDS.

Finally, all I was pointing out in the aforementioned quote is that your comments about S1 not being a DDS-killer, that it's only a copycat, that it'll never be as good as the original, etc that you were spouting in DDS's defense aged about as well as milk, which in my opinion is still a factually accurate assessment given the literal statistical evidence, sorry.
