Most demos do not transfer save progress to the full game.

Hell, the only ones I can think of that do, are the sort of games where the demo is actually the game and buying the game is just an unlock key that unlocks the rest of the game.

That and the demo was an older development build from the game that came out today, save files were never likely going to be compatible.

Also, the dev literally said progress would not transfer, which everyone asking this question would've known had they used the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ search function.

imagine grinding a DEMO thinking it will be saved, and not APPRECIATE the full game when it comes out. It just means the game will be 100x more fun than you thought it was. LOL
