Exactly. I'm disabled, but not in my arms. However, I recently broke my clavicle so M+K was not happening. But, someone's gonna act all snobby to that question every single time though. I mapped a decent gamepad config for BF3. I have always played BF3 and shooters in general with a controller. And I posted this config on reddit in case anybody else wanted it. I said that I know it's not the best and you'll be getting ♥♥♥♥ on by players, but it's here if you want it. And sure enough, some guy comes and has to give his worthless opinion. If you don't want to use a controller then why even click on the damn thread??? lol.

Also games on pc should all have controller support nowadays no matter what, because having the option for those that have to or want to play with controller can and it gets more people to buy the game.
So really there is no excuse not to have controller support in games even on pc.

lmao are you me? I also play 7-8 feet away from my TV, and have a logitech mini keyboard + trackpad combo that I use to control my PC, and a dualsense connected wirelessly within reach to play any game with. It's the ultimate setup. No native apps means zero ads on anything for free.. *high 5*.

even mild carpal tunnel sucks. comfort and ergo is king.

I really hope they do add controller support I'm disabled and need my controller to be able to play games. I really want to play this game but can't currently.

There are some community controller layouts for the game, have you tried them? None are ideal because of the way wasd movements translates to analogue but it may at least be playable.

Edit: can you access community control schemes on a demo?

I just learned about this game from youtube. I was interested to check this out but I'll wait for proper controller support first.

I used a community control layout on the demo. Worked fine but had to change one command. Bought the full game and using a different control layout from the community and works great
