you should be able to get the save file and store it on a usb or whatever.... theres also the cloud but not sure if u can count on that

The answer is yes. You will lose everything and if you don't know that you probably shouldn't be doing that.

You can use Steam Cloud but that's not very reliable right now and you may lose progress anyway.

np, gl, you can get into appdata by typing %appdata%

ps the save files act weird..... i tried to export/import a file into the beta but it didnt work...dependable consistency is not yet where it should be

You can also unhide the folder, then it's permanent.

true , pain in the ass to find the folder tho, this is quick and painless and you need to find it to unhide it 1st , this is so easy i dont even bother to unhide it :p

I didn't lose my progress. It was saved for me on steam cloud. Still a good idea to back it up manually.
