The 2 others are fine. The slots are not balanced at all (heavily rigged in your favour). Ride the bus step #1 is a 50/50 so it's balanced, if you're smart about it you only continue if it's to your advantage. If you flip a 7, 8 or 9 as the opening card, there's no point in playing step #2. 50% to win to increase your gain by 50% is a losing proposition. If you flip a 3, then it is a winning proposition. Same for the 3rd step. 4-J is bad, 4-6 is good. The 4th and final step is always good.
First time, made myself a rule that I'd come in with $20 and if at any point I had lost up to $20, I'd stop. Came out $70 ahead, beginners luck, but I had pocket money for Dead Island Riptide so it was a successful first time. Second and third time I lost my $20 in the first half hour and just chilled and ate. Forth time I only went for the pizza, didn't even play.
I do remember after stopping that I kinda decided I liked the place even though I wanted to leave, because I'd bring my PSP with me and could get high ranked recruits for Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker in there.
That's cool and all but like I said. It's not the game it's me. I don't think anything needs to change. I think I need to not gamble.
