Sweatshop uses
So i recently automated my bungalow for weed production with 2 botanists, 2 handlers to pack it and 1 Cleaner. I was thinking how I can now use the Sweatshops, since i had a Botanist there previously. I dont need more produce but i could tap into either mixing or Meth. But i feel like both of those would hugely benefit from a Handler in order to minimise player interaction, especially the mixer. What do use the Sweatshop for?

I have only access up to the Bungalow for now.

I've got all properties unlocked, and i'm not currently making use of the sweatshop aside from a bed which i'll sleep in if it's convenient.

You could probably fit a small grow in there, maybe a meth lab but i think it'd be a bit cramped.

With the barn you get a LOT more space, i'd just make a rush for that if you can - if you've already got enough produce i'd use it to invest in the items i need at the barn.

The bungalow however i do use, i'm currently using it with 8 coca plants, feeding into 8 drying racks which then disperses into 2 cauldrons and 2 ovens before being bricked for mixing which i do in the barn.

My setup is a little weird, i think most use the bungalow for meth, which i currently have attached to my 8 mixer at the barn but this works well enough.

Tldr;

Get the barn asap, the space given is huge, and the second loading bay is such a QoL improvement when mixing more complex strains.

I had a successful meth op in the sweatshop for a while. Just the one chemist running 2x chem and 2x ovens. Back when they had 3 spots I'd swap him from running 2 chem 1 over to 1 chem 2 oven every few days to clear backlog. With 4 it' was just drop buy every couple days and brick up the meth, restock the stations and go about my business. I pass by that spot all the time so it's very little trouble. Some of the higher spenders (Jessi, for example) will generally buy a whole brick of premium unmixed meth for 1440.

Personally I would hold out for the docks and skip the barn. It's more centrally located. Also, I suggest you ditch the cleaner at the bungalow. On something as small as the bungalow you're much better off with someone who will produce value rather than tidy up. My bungalow setup right now is 3 chemists 2 handlers. 2 chem stations, 2 ovens, 5 mixing stations. You do need to babysit it a little since it'll run only about a day before running out of mixing ingredients but you can generate quite a bit of high priced product from that little house.
I'm considering going to a 4-mix so I can run 2 chemists 3 handlers to have more ingredients stored so it's hands off a little longer.

Meth produces no trash when run by workers. No acid/phosphorus bottles laying around so there'd be nothing for a cleaner to even do.

Maybe get docks first and barn after, but the barn continues to be useful due to being just down the road from the docks and of course the amount of space.
sweatshop or motel is perfect for a small op like weed or meth. if you want to make it even more useful grab the employee manager mod. it lets you manage your peeps easier. add slots to your properties and pay them. auto clean trash mod helps keep things running smooth as well. this way you can adjust these small properties for your needs.
I use the sweatshop and motel for storage. Beds and racks setup. Personal stash at motel and bricks at the sweatshop.

Well Botanists wherever they work absolutely need a Cleaner. A single day of a botanist's work in the sweatshop filled like a gazillion garbage bags. Two of them definitely need a cleaner. Besides, 2 Botanists & 2 Handlers make so much produce that it's still a cash cow.

Might consider a chemist in the Sweatshop then.
It would be good for small scale meth manufacturing. Likely 1 chemist and 1 handler, 4 chem stations and 4 ovens and a single packaging station with jars. Just stock the shelves with ingredients, assign everything right, fill the brief cases and you shouldn't have to interact with them for a long while. Just come back periodically to grab your product.

lmao sweatshop can only assign 1 worker FYI
ignore it and move on to bungalow. Personally I moved everything to bungalow, and after unlocking coke I just set one botanist to handle 6 plant pot and 2 drying racks for some extra stuff to get started on the production

My game must be bugged then because I have had 2 there before, a botanist and a cleaner.

For sweatshop i have a single chemist who makes a fair bit of meth using 2 labs and 2 ovens. I have a large shelf for the output and a brick press that i will occasionally use to compress to bricks. Once a fair bit has built up there, I move it to the main meth house (bungalow).
I use all my properties atm, because I was also kind of wondering what to do with the sweatshop later in the game. Right now I use the warehouse to solely grow as much cocaine as possible, 48 plants at the moment with 6 botanists. Bring full vans to the barn where it solely gets cooked en masse, then I bring it to the bungalow to get mixed, then it goes to the sweatshop to get packaged into bricks.

That sounds exhausting and a lot of extra work lol. If only the loading docks worked at the barn and warehouse...
