Can't get past the tutorial screen

Hi guys, I'm having issue once completing the tutorial. The game can't load into the initial game. Any suggestions? Unplayable at this stage for me. Black screen of death.

I'm having the same issue, I've tried verifying integrity and reinstalling, I am also using the most recent drivers

same issue here, verified everything, reinstalled multiple times, all drivers are up to date but still keep get booted out the game. Ive even tried changing versions still got nothing

have you tried the alternate version that was released? it might help, idk. If you go into the Betas tab, you can switch over to the alternate version.

ive tried all of the versions including the legacy one they all still crash

Oh dang, ok. Im sorry to hear that. maybe send in a ticket to the dev to see what could be causing the issue.
A couple troubleshooting things i can think of is: recent installations of drivers - maybe the most recent driver failed or didnt install properly and is causing issues. Another would be to check the computer resources when attempting to play to see how much RAM or CPU usage its using. Also, check the health of your hard drive - this can also lead to issues.

If you are talking about a black screen at the end of the prologue, I had that too. The fix was to enable or disable Vsync, can't remember which one.

man, vsync seems to be a detriment to many.

Yes, that's the exact screen. I will give that a go and try everyone's suggestions. Thanks guys, I'll keep you updated if I can figure it out

Verify Integrity of Game Files

1 Restart your computer and launch Steam
2 Next, you can either right click the game in your Library, or click the gear icon from the
game's Library page on the far right
3 From the drop down menu, select Properties...
4 Select the Installed Files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files button
5 Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes

Unsure if it worked yet, I have to play through the entire intro I'll keep you guys posted

Done, I should do a speed run of the tutorial after this.... But it worked. Cheers guys. We are in game as we speak

so i have sort of got it to work, only solution i have found is to play the game windowed rather then full screen
