if you're selling top notch, you receive less sales.
so it's not actually worth it to make the "best mixes" because truthfully: they aren't actually the best.
the best are the ones you cam make the most money with in the least amount of time with, if you're struggling to maintain a supply of something that's a big price tag but aren't actually selling as much as you could: then it isn't actually worth it.
from my experience, the actual best mixes in the game are ones that only take a max of 4 ingredients, that has effects that are generalized among your best buyers.
going from making only a few sales per day and night with the most expensive product to making sales literally every minute for amounts of 5 or more with a product that only used 4 ingredients is a massive change, i did the test and found i doubled my money when i stopped making the 7 ingredient mixes and went down to 4 ingredient ones.
I am making more cash than I can convert. The game is totally fun untill that point.
But the next step when moving to the barn the problem with fun begins. I love automation but this game needs some overhaul in this part
If you find the sweet spot say someone has 750 and you sell weed at 380 - chances are they will buy 2... that kind of works with every customer - they have limited wallet sizes.
pickpocket them when they're in cooldown after they bought already, look at their cash, then when the cooldown wears off pickpocket them and look at it again and how it reset.
it's not a daily amount of cash, it resets every time the cooldown wears off.
which is why when you see that they really only want mid range strains you see that the high end highly profitable 7 ingredients ones just aren't worth the time sync.
just a 4 ingredient mix is all you need, something worth about 80-85 and they will regularly buy it for 100 a bud.
