i cant play with my friendsa because in the menu i have the same version but i cant join to lobby

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to join my boyfriends Lobby, but it's not letting me. Had them try to join me, but it's not letting them join either.
Hopefully they fix it before or during the actual Launch of the game.
By version, do you mean the build number? Like 0.2.9 (the current build of the game if I'm not mistaken) for instance?

Interesting. Do you have Steam set up to keep Schedule 1 up to date automatically on all of the machines? And you've double-checked the version is correct on all of them?

You could try verifying the integrity of the game's files on all of the machines. This can be done by right-clicking the game in your library, selecting Properties, going to Installed Files, and clicking the button to verify. It might take a few minutes and should let you know when it's done. If that doesn't work, maybe re-download the game on all machines (I'd back up saves first though). You could try checking your antivirus too, to see if it's blocking the game or one of its files somehow, like quarantining something. Just kinda spitballing workarounds here since I haven't tried playing the game online yet, but hopefully one will work for you.

Something seems to be wrong with how the game is working with steam. It no longer shows your steam icon either so I think the game is failing to receive the data it requests from steam (which likely is preventing it from getting the version number of players trying to join and a null result for version number means it doesn't match the hosts valid version number)

Anyone figured out a fix for this? I was playing with my friends just two days ago and now we've been getting the same "Version mismatch" error since yesterday

Seems like the game is failing to retrieve info from steam, so when it gets a null result for the version it counts as a mismatch.

Doubt there is any workaround.
