problem with version

i cant play with my friendsa because in the menu i have the same version but i cant join to lobby

Seems like the game is failing to retrieve info from steam, so when it gets a null result for the version it counts as a mismatch.

Doubt there is any workaround.

Yeah the same thing is happening to me, but I figured it was just a me thing since it usually is.

REASONING:
My steam hasn't been the same since 1-2 months ago. It doesn't even show I'm online on my side, but it shows I'm online to other people when I boot a game up.

doesnt matter... the Release is coming in a few days, I doubt they will patch the Demo to try and fix that, they will likely just add a fix to the Release before it goes live

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Idm it atm, but it's little annoying since I can't play the Co-Op side until the release

GO TO
STEAM
SETTINGS
DOWNLOADS
CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE
Itll restart steam then when you log back in verify the game files and it should work
