Unfortunately no, you'll need to start a new save. I believe the reason is that the story in the full version is a bit different.

From the Dev's Discord FAQ section:

Will my save data from the demo transfer over to the full game?

No, The full version of Schedule 1 has the player start in a different location with a different prologue. Your data will not transfer to full game

They should keep it so that our rank and money will transfer. that is doable even if you start elsewhere.
I am not about to lose 2 houses packed with tents

The top review of the demo says you can, and so i spent 7 hours in the demo knowing i would still buy the full game, and now I just found out that I lost all that progress
You can do, it'd just have to be manually. Go to %USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/TVGS/Schedule I Free Sample/Saves/ and copy your save game folder to %USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/TVGS/Schedule I/Saves/ and place it into the folder with the steam_autocloud.vdf file in it (I think the folder name is your SteamID) and it works

Did you try what the most recent comment said? Otherwise i might as well buy the game and not lose too much time on the demo

In their defense, [SPOILERS] I just finished the demo myself last night, and of course decided to buy. I am now sitting here starting a new game and I chose no prologue because I assumed what I played in the demo was the prologue. It started me in a whole new area where my paranoia kicked in. Hahahha. Once I continued I immediately noticed a difference. The curfew in demo starts earlier at 8pm while in my new game full game it doesn’t start until 9pm. That alone can change gameplay with your time being on the streets for a new person. Demo also starts you close to motel, elsewhere from full game.

Start over
I can confirm that you can manually transfer your saves just like the above comment mentions.

So I was able to load the savegame in the full version, worked pretty fine. BUT: Any idea if this limits your progress to the extent of the beta even though you play the full version? Buddy and I are past Level BAGMAN IV but we are not able to buy stuff that would be available at Street Rat Level. Would be pretty bummed to have lost that progress now that we have progressed further in the game.

I did this just the other day. I played the free sample and spent like 9 hours playing it so I had the apartment on top on the Chinese restaurant, I had all the good supplies. Went into my files and switched the save to the full game. It DID work, but I was at the mixing quest and after I reloaded it on the other save i couldn't get the quest to pop up or anything. I think it messes with the full game somehow. I was saldy but I decided to just delete my old save and start a new one so I could play the different prologue from the full game. It felt like something was off I just couldn't put my finger on it lol. But fwiw it was definitely worth it to just start a new save lol
