But i also figured out, that the quality is close to zero meaning. You only need it for the free sample and only to fit the favorit. No benefit to be above. Tho the yellow star quality has zero effect and is only for your grind satisfaction.
Purple star is already made with fertilizer, tho the asign botanist to racks is complete waste of asigned workplace.
Its also doesn´t affect the orders, or the price
i watched my botanist today and checked output from pot to drying rack. 2 coca plant ready to harvest so he chopped 1 down planted a new seed added 3 ferts then moved to second pot to harvest. plant seed bla bla bla after finishing he put 16 standard quality leaves on the rack that was from the second pot. he was holding 32 right? botanists seem to prioritise planting first etc they will walk away from a rack they just fed without hitting "dry". 16 goes to null, just like with base cocaine. its a base coding issue somewhere the ai that controls what they do and when. just let tyler cook. hes made a great game just give it time it'll get sorted out. maybe im wrong but its odd that botanists and chemists have a very similar bug.
it cant be location specific imo because you can go a week in game time with no bugout.
edit it probably my fault with the ovens etc just tresting stuff out and trying to min/max pushing them beyond their limits. i should probably just let them do their thing and not pre load ovens etc. push the dry button etc
I've managed to path out what causes these issues, or at least probable causes:
1- 2 employees dropping ♥♥♥♥ in the same shelf/same slot on a machine, it's okay if one is dropping into the "product" slot and the other in the "ingredient" slot on the mixing machine, for example, but outputting two botanists on the same shelf (multiple pots from same botanist is ok) will cause this, same with handlers or chemists.
2- your employees being somehow unable to path through your complex "optimized" setup, make setups that are spacious and easy to path through.
3- mods
Bonus round: Your employees missing supplies or having their output full, especially botanists, will tank your fps.
Tyler is currently working on employee logic, and he knows it's broken in some ways, so I don't expect the AI to do backflips and I keep my ♥♥♥♥ simple. Has 100% worked out for me. :P
Yep, If you set up automation and it works, anything You do to change the work flow of the bots messes it up, if they put 1 product out of 10 to a location and you come along and fill in the other 9 it messes up their program so rather than put 9 back on a shelf or location they will put it in their pocket, or it will get deleted,
if they move 10 ( the max product that can be set on machines) to the oven storage spot, etc.. and you come along and add 10 or put them in the oven to get the bot to make them ..it messes them up
I made the mistake of doing it with mixers, if they werent running all the time I ran around and loaded them fully to run.. and wondered why the chemists and handlers were always moving things and having odd numbers on the machines, so I cleared everything and just sat there and let them do their thing and it all worked perfectly ..I just needed to leave them alone .. LOL
I have to set the destination to a Shelf and then have a Handler move product to the drying racks for it to work.
Total waste of an Employee.
if you are doing Coke with the dry racks, skip them totally and just do fertilizer to get it to Purple Quality, taking it to Heavenly is pointless currently, no customer asks for it or requires it
and the slight increase in value is not worth the efforts and the slight increase in production from buying Fertilizer is not enough to hurt income more then a couple bucks, which is nothing when making the amount of money that Coke brings in
It speeds everything up and makes the process smoother
ok ive been lucky enough to alpha a beta many many games before early access was a thing. i try many different things. wide paths small paths blocked exit to left or right., makes no difference. they still bug out. at some point. its a core issue
im not saying im right you might be right? but i have a 16 grow and 16 drying rack 13 shelf 5 beds in the bungalow 4 botanist using all 3 fertiliser and a cleaner.. works fine most of the time, i watched a botanist today. i would put 1k down as a bet today im right
its a problem with bot priority base ai, chemists do the same. guessing same code use same base. line.?
No I'm doing weed. My guy isnt into the hard stuff.
AHH, I dropped weed as soon as I unlocked Meth and never went back to it
I assume then that Fertilizer only takes Weed to Blue Quality ? and You have to dry it to Purple ?
i have pink bongs i didnt bin, havent found any other. them gas masks the chem people wear .......................... 1 + 1+ 3?
in a game.
Dont really care if it makes it more valuable or not.
All this is for RP reasons and not to make the most $$ the fastest.
I'm just having fun chilling, riding around on my skateboard and selling weed.
Edit: I have 100+ hours in this game and this issue just started yesterday. I haven't reassigned anybody or moved any racks, stations, etc.
Edit #2: I have drying racks but I use them myself only when I get blue quality weed instead of purple. I had some on the racks yesterday and just noticed now that there is no output and I can't dry any other bud. If you look at the rack, it visually looks like it's full, too.
