❗ Steam Workshop | Modding made easier
A lot of people like modding in games, I am one of those players who also likes to have easy access to mods, which is why I think it would be a great idea to have a menu where mods can be uploaded and listed for other players to try.

It would work like this:
Mods could be acquired through Steam Workshop in the same way that players do for games like Garry's Mod, where they subscribe to a mod on the workshop and it gets installed into the game. The requirement would obviously be Melon Loader since this is the mod loader that works with Schedule I. This could open up a lot of great opportunities for other players too who may not be as versed on modding, it would make things way easier for everyone who loves to play the game with mods because it becomes tedious after a while of scrolling through Nexus Mods and manually downloading and installing mods.

If I decided to mod this game, I would also prefer it be through the workshop (like project zomboid).
The easiest way to handle basic mods, is to do it in a similar way devs like Paradox do. Have json files in the player's save directory override fixed values in game. If a player wants to increase the number of employees available at the sweatshop, simply copy that file from the install directory into the player save location, open the file, and edit. This also allows seamless sharing of these files without the need to constantly reapply. It should also be fairly forward compatible.
