HUGE suggestion-list
Needless to say, loving the game, I think this is a lightning in a bottle kind of game, I am very impressed how addictive it already is, years before fully releasing.

I've been writing down my ideas now for a couple of weeks that I think could add to the game, or at least give Tyler something to think about. These are just suggestions from my side, I neither want or expect for EVERYTHING on this list to be included in the game at some point, I'm just hoping I can help out the development with a couple of suggestions :)

I know some of the things (or maybe many) I mention have already been thought of and mentioned before in some form, but hopefully I have built onto those basic concepts enough to be worth mentioning again.

I've very crudely categorized my ideas, and I apologize beforehand for any bad grammar or mistakes, I am merely a simple swede with a lot of ideas.

== QOL ==

A way to filter/see the difference between the time of deals in upper compass,either manually or automagically;
Automagic; future deals could have another color in the top compass than the deals in current timeslot.
Manual; Dropdown and color/icon options, so you can see the difference between deals being made at different times of the day

Able to hire multiple employees at once, instead of one at a time

Barn/Warehouse/Mansion: Parking spots for at least one of your own vehicles, not only for deliveries

Able to honk your car

In game calculator

Grab all / move all button when moving things between inventories

Saveable shopping lists for quick re-ordering of deliveries (saving item list and delivery place)

When ordering deliveries, hide the locations without a loading bay (sweatshop, motel room etc)

As you level up, you unlock bigger delivery trucks, so you can order more at once, without the need for more than 2 delivery points per site.
OR; you gain "reputation" the more you order from gas-station/hardware store (same system as with suppliers), and when you hit a certain level, you can order larger deliveries

See the value of a drug when hovering over it with mouse in your inventory

Messages from employees when not being payed (could be a general message from that local manager, that employees haven't been payed)
Example:
Message from Ben Dover (Manager Warehouse) - "Hey Boss, we got staff here not getting their paycheck, could you look into it?"

Time slider for laundry, for both amount and time;
This means you could launder more money, but it takes longer time (also option to pull cash from an active money laundry action). with this mechanic, you don't have to go laundring every day, but you need to plan ahead, making sure you still have cash to pay for stuff.
Example:
Car Wash
4000: 24h
8000: 48h

== IMMERSION ==

Ambulance pops up and picks up shot/knocked out people

Not every customer order drugs every day (makes sense with more customers available in the future)

Customers drug buying behavior is affected by their personal preferences;
if give dealer/advertise only weed, and customer have a preference for meth or cocaine, they might buy less, or not at all

Everything automagic should stop at 4am (plants growing, money laundry, drug deals expire at 4pm, etc)

Hardware store could get bigger/get more things in stock as you level up (because you are buying so much stuff from them). It would feel more immersive if more things "come into stock" as your empire grows (and you buy more and more stuff from the local businesses)
Store guy NPC line: "Business is booming, we got more products in stock now!"

Businesses could send you a message (if you opt in for getting advertisement from them, you can do that at the store), with tips and advertising new products or such.
Could be a fun way of holding new players hands, or just remind players of new products available.

As you level up, season changes in the world, giving a feel of time passing. (Early game spring, mid game summer, and so on)

NEW STORES OPENING UP AS YOU PROGRESS - scattered around town, there could be empty buildings advertising "coming soon" or "opening soon" stores, that unlocks at higher levels
This could be an alternative to having all ingredients locked behind a level, in a gas station
Although, it is pretty hilarious that you can buy horse ♥♥♥ at a gas station, would not be mad if it stayed this way ;P

- The Big Outdoors (backpack, better flashlight, gadgets?)
- Supermarket (BallWarts) - new store that "opens up" later in the game, enables larger transports and more things to mix into your drugs
normal fruits, foods, food coloring, etc
- Drug store or even a dealer - selling more advanced additives, such as Horse ♥♥♥, paracetamol, viagra etc, I.E things you would not normally find in a gas station.
- exotics store - selling rare and expensive products. It could have a few slots with random rare neat products that can be found there if you are lucky. Such as:

Rare superseeds / drops / finds / ingredients
Exotic seeds/ingredients in the world, with special and unique properties. These are as mentioned very rare and should be counted as a fun bonus that could help your business in one way or another; win over another customer with free sample, maybe boost your income if you are stuck on cash, etc.
These rare drops could be obtained through a couple of different ways, such as:
Buy at the exotic store (when in stock)
Caught in the fishing mini-game
Found when pick-pocketing
Found on the ground randomly like trash, or found WHEN picking trash randomly

The sky is the limit for what crazy stuff can be added to the game. Below are just a couple of examples of special items/ingredients:
Weed superseed: grows into a superexclusive weed strain product with special effects on customer and a WAY higher selling price
Colombian Coffee Beans: when mixed into weed/cocaine/Meth, it adds another 100% of addictiveness, causing the users to get crazy and buy WAY MORE drugs for a couple of days
MSG: when mixed into weed/cocaine/Meth, it boosts quality and likelyhood of customers of loving the product (perfect for winning over the tough customers with free samples)

Useable car wash, and NPC using it. Nothing fancy, just for the immersion. It could cost 20 bucks to wash your car, and it makes no difference whatsoever.

Undercover cops approaching you trying to buy drugs and get you busted (super comically obviously an undercover cop, fake moustache and the kit), keeping you on your toes not to just hit "sell" on anyone approaching you.

A whole reputation system with cops and DEA, so you know if they're on to you or if you are keeping a low profile enough.
If you get in trouble more often, they would be proned to do more random body search when you get close to cops, and the opposite if you are skilled at avoiding them.

Cops react when you have illegal stuff equipped, prompting them to search you or even hunt you down, same with having a gun or other weapon equipped.

Some people might call cops if they see you running around with a gun, some are more chill

Workers leaving for home at 4 AM (when time stops)

Increased DEA/COP activity depending on where you spend the most time in game (barn, warehouse, ETC)

Cops/DEA staking out locations.

Actually having to rent motel room/sweatshop. First off, this makes sense, you don't "buy" a motel room for 70 bucks or whatever price it is. You would have to rent it.
This adds an overhead to the game which gives you an incentive to either give up your older places (for other NPC's to move in), or automate it late game with automatic card payment.
If rent is not payed weekly, they call police (they will be asking for rent via sms if not payed in time)
When you stop renting motel room, other people might move in, opening up interesting possibilities of new customers

Motel and sweatshop rent could be paid in cash, whilst equivalent of rent is payed with card for the bungalow and up.

The longer you stay in Hyland Point, the worse it gets
The town gets gradually more chaotic and worse, the longer you stay. More gunshot sounds in the distance, more sirens, news report on more and more violence, more trash, more cops etc.

== EMPLOYEES / DEALERS ==

Have the dealers be different skilled at slinging product. This could be both how skilled they are at negogiating higher prices, selling more product and/or selling specific products. Benji could be knowledgeable in weed and selling in large quantity for example, but less good at meth and cocaine, whilst Molly might be a crystal expert.
You could ask them (as you would an employee) why they are not selling as well as you want, and their answer could account for both their own "skills", and the customers you have assigned to them.
Molly; Strenghts weed, meth (most assigned customers prefer weed to meth or cocaine)
You to Molly: Why are you not selling more drugs?
Molly to you: "I don't move cocaine so good, but more weed would boost the numbers"
This could opening up fun ways of min-maxing for those who like that, but it would still work fine for players who just want to assign any customers to any dealers; they will still be selling, just not as optimized as they could be.

Using deaddrops for your dealers; put drugs in the dead-drop for dealers to pick up when their stock is running low

Hire a site manager (bungalow and up), can also unlock a couple of new neat apps for you to monitor production/drug empire (see below)
Site manager could order and unpack deliveries, deliver drugs to dealer dead-drops, among other things.

PAYROLL APP (unlocked when hiring your first site manager, he suggests using an app for managing employees)
Paying employees with card for payment automation, easy management with app
Have a button with "take cash first", if you want to be able to -or already have cash stashed in the employee locker.

SALES STAT APP
See what kind of drugs sell better in what parts of town, so you can optimize your drug dealing
Even see stats for specific customers, what they like and what the usually buy.

PRODUCTIVITY APP
Linked to your different locations (bungalow, barn, warehouse etc), tracks productivity, output, stock for that specific operation etc. Keep an eye on your business without having to go there all the time.

== STORAGE ==

Different types and sizes of storage units;

- small, medium, large (the current ones) - cheap and uncomplicated, can be equipped with label (sold separately)
- deluxe storage (small, medium large), comes with a label, looks cooler and can be customized slightly (different finishes or colors): Obviously more expensive
- industrial sized storage (small, medium, large), MUCH bigger inventory, also much taller so they would only fit in the barn / warehouse.
"Manageable Storage", meaning it got built in routes (with item filtering), and can be assigned to a handler the same way you assign a package station.
Could be used as a take-all off-loading point when getting deliveries. INSANELY expensive

== LATE GAME ==

Personal Assistant / Your Right Hand
Unlocked when buying the mansion for example, or at a certain very high level. VERY expensive to hire
Hireable at the black market warehouse, where you hire all other employees.
There could be several different Assistants to hire (although you can only have one at a time), with different skills, uses and prices. This so you can hire whichever assistant to suit your own playstyle. The point of having one of these is to help you out with things you don't like to do, or maybe don't have time to do when expanding, or managing your locations. Such as:
- Money laundry, ordering ingrediens, BUYING ingredients, paying rent for your various locations
- Assign customers to (as an extra dealer)
- Protection (from cops, DEA, cartel etc)

WAREHOUSE UNLOCKING IMPORT/EXPORT BUSINESS VIA SEA
Narco Submarine (export/import cocaine)
Import = order massive amounts of stock, or even cocaine to sell
Export = sell huge amounts of cocaine (only in bulk), if you have a big enough production

== OTHER ==

Damage and healing system (with visible healthbar, only showing when damaged for example)
Hospital system, with an alternative underground hospital costing TONS of cash

Food coloring so you can create a product with the color you want (I need that blue meth with chili P yo!)

Have a couple of tv-channels you could watch, giving you tips and trix, news giving you an update about the state of the town;
"Downtown hit with a crazy meth wave"

Saveable shopping lists for quick re-ordering of deliveries (saving item list and delivery place)
^this is the main thing I need!!
Now that you mention the laundering, I also think it's weird that it takes 24 hours to launder money regardless of how much it is. Launder 10 dollars; 24 hours. Launder 8000 dollars; 24 hours. At the very least, money laundering should take into consideration how much is being laundered and a daily max per business be the upper limit. If Taco Ticklers can launder 8000 in 24 hours, then it should also be able to launder 800 in 2.4 hours.
