Could we put the trash in our pockets?
Playing solo up till now, I don't have any employees... and I don't really want them... Yet at least. But while trying to maintain a clean workplace I was making some rock candy at 4 AM and had 2 empty inventory slots while I was setting the bunsen burner off and stepping away from the table two pieces of junk fell through the screen and fell through the part of my screen where the empty inventory slots were. Made me think about being able to save all the bending and picking up all sorts of litter, if maybe, when you have an empty inventory slot, a used item, like the bottle of acid, or phosphorous for example, could go into an empty inventory slot, but trash like that cant stack, but it would be a nice way to carry a few items to the garbage can instead of having to scrape it all off the ground after the fact with the grabber every single time or just letting it heap like a little graveyard of glass and plastic before going at the floor with a garbage bag.

If its not too much, trash items, any of the street debris, can be picked up and placed in an inventory slot, press e to pick up, hold e to put it into your hand(into the first empty or the current equipped empty inventory slot)/ hold e to pull back out in front of you 'picked up' ready to click to throw

If you have the empty inventory slots available after performing a task at a table, mixer, chemistry station, whatever, if the waste items automatically went into your inventory instead of just dropping to the ground. This would make some additional clutter in the hotbar, I might be insane, but I think it would be fun to have to practice shooting for the trash can between each different task to break up the monotony a little bit if you're not already loaded up with a full inventory, in which case the garbage would just fall to the ground like we know and love. It would make the garbage cans feel a little more useful as well I think, especially if they could be 'deeper' on a base level, capable of holding a little more than 10 things before brimming over completely, or possibly, this might be the big reach for this suggestion, Garbage can Mk2 that can hold twice as much and looks a little neater maybe
GARBAGE CAN MK3, 3x3 footprint, $500 price tag, basketball themed trashcan, has attached backboard and hoop for throwing garbage at, plays a little jingle when you get trash in the hoop, do something so if you actually get garbage to land in and go through the hoop it is forced to actually go into the can and add to the trash heap and doesn't just bounce off into the floor, or maybe don't and that makes it harder, thus, more rewarding when you do hit both, and then it plays a *sad* little jingle when you get trash in the hoop but its full so the trash falls on the floor even though you did make a sick shot(this is made better I feel if the hoop is a guaranteed sink and not the hard mode version)

If putting the mystery street syringe in my pocket is really *THAT* bad of an idea(or breaks the code in some horrifying way that I don't understand because computers are nonsense black magic and game developers might as well be summoning eldritch beings back there for all I know) then maybe I could be dissuaded with a Trash Grabber Mk2, longer grabber lets you reach further trash and bigger bucket can *ghasp* hold more trash. Trash Grabber Mk3 is just a backpack version of the TrashForCash can, everything you pick up just gives you a dollar straight into your wallet, this thing has to cost something insane though and the money it gives goes straight to your credit without counting against your weekly limit, makes cleaning up the grow room after replanting faster and economical!

These are all really just things that are geared toward a much more solo play style, but if there's more stuff coming down the pipeline, and I hope there is, i'm hoping more trash pickup is part of it maybe, making the recycling part of the game more efficient with better items or maybe having some way to make it more profitable at the later stages to even further improve those profit margins by having an on site trash compactor then selling the pallets to a recycling plant for more than it would be worth in the trashforcash can but it takes like 50 garbage bags to make one cube, 20 cubes for a pallet, but then payday comes! I might be making my own game at this point...
