35 hours in, burnt out and taking a break (What would improve experience, for me)

I'm very satisfied with what I got for the money and looking forward to where the game goes from here. But for now, I've gotten overwhelmed running all the properties. Making sure dealers are stocked is easy enough, but inventory can be a serious issue to the point I started driving the van.

The way the employees are automated right now is messy, and I managed to completely biff my last operation, things are just not working and theres too many moving parts for me to figure out where the line is broken. I'll probably watch a tutorial for layout and process when I've had time to cool off. Still, even if I got it working properly, I'd seriously consider firing everyone at the other properties even if it seriously hampers my ability to make money. I don't care how many days it takes me to reach the end as long as its not so damn stressful.

What I, personally, need in games like this is stronger automation. I suggest that once you reach a certain rank you have a central base where customers and dealers can go to buy/stock up. Like you have a front where customers come to us and are ordering secretly from the back? Could be a final or close to final upgrade, but there is just way too much running around on a time limit and I always forget something.

Is it sacrilege to ask for fast travel?

An auto re-order, auto stock, and having your entire storage area unified with a search feature would be great. Less steps in every aspect possible. Have a laptop/pc at your properties that can remotely order laundering, dealers to pick up stock, etc.

If the automation gets efficient enough the player can relax, quests/tasks would break up the monotony. Once you stop getting calls from Uncle, the game loses a lot of flavor. Add some personality to the characters like conversation options, backstories etc.

If your character was a seriously high level boss, you could have police bribes, a bodyguard, a driver/chauffeur (being able to call for your car would be wonderful), enforcers, or even the benevolent boss putting money back into the community like hiring people to clean up this dump, tired of all this trash in the streets. Maybe even eventually take over as mayor :P
