I would love for even just a single dot to be able to aim my gun better

There is a mod for that on Nexus for now that would give that to you.

What I don't get is, there's a dot when you DON'T have a weapon out, but pull a gun and it goes away

For now Iam helping myself with putting gun on 6th slot which is on vertical center, so at least that helps without putting a sticker or shady crosshair program.

But it would be nice to implement at least some kind of broad crosshair.
