Linux compatibility
Assuming the game is made with a modern game engine like Unreal / Unity or Godot, would it be possible to compile the game for Linux as well. I know the Linux community is small, but we are trying really hard to create a viable alternative to Windows, which has been only becoming worse and worse over the years. If this could become a reality, I can assure you (the developer) that you will receive a lot of respect within the Linux community.

Yes it is possible, but not out of the box unless the Dev used some universal back end stuff, and wrote the code specifically to be easily portable. Now days, it's a lot easier then say, 10 yeas ago, or even 5, but it's absolutely not as easy has hitting a button... and would be practically impossible if the game uses anything windows specific... FTL was coded for several systems in parallel, and Dev said he'd never do it again, calling it a nightmare. Again, more than 10 years ago. Project Zomboid is dual wielding their disto as seem to be doing okay.

What's a far more achievable goal, it to write the game to play nice with WINE and Proton and Linux in general, which is fairly easy if you know the pit falls. So far, Schedule 1 seems to play nice, it just acts a little less optimised.

But please Dev, Linux if possible.
