Le Hamel

Hey guys,

Been playing through the British campaign and currently stuck on the second part of the Le Hamel mission. The bit where you need to capture the trenches in under ten minutes. How are you supposed to do this? Everything I have gets shredded by artillery and mortar fire instantly. Whatever infantry makes it to the trenches are pummelled into defeat as well.

Use MK4 tanks to destroy artillery and Whippets to destroy mortars crews. Tank rush works well in this objective. Then, try to move your infantry to the trenches.

Have the Mk 4's destroy the two center 77's and German Mk 4 with artillery. Move all three Whippets around the German right flank through the bushes there, get behind and kill the two German right flank 77's with mg fire, while the MK4's engage the three mortars in the trenches.. The 77 on the far left flank can't be engaged by the tanks, have the Whippet's clear enough german infantry so a crew can man the 77 farthest to the German right flank, and have it take out the far left flank 77. Then use Whippets to clear what's left of the mortars.
