"Steam is not found or is not running" Error

I just downloaded the game and when i try to launch it for the first time it says "Steam is not found or is not running", if this is a bug, will redownloading it help, if this is not a bug, how can I make this work. I understand if it is a bug, Im not complaining.

This happens with a few steam games. Attempt to run steam as Admin, for some reason that fixes it sometimes.

No it didnt work. Well its a free game so no harm done.

I am also having the same problem, "Steam is not found or is not running", if someone solve, I will thank enough.

Usually helps complete restart Steam client.

I've found that forcing the game and steam to run in Admin helps.

Yep. Right click in Steam, click Properties, Click Local, Click View in Local Directory (or whatever its called these days) then right click the .exe and click properties then click the compatability tab and click Run as Admin.
