You are welcome!
I'm assuming, Soldier_Daisy, since it says "developer" next to your name, that you know someone that made this game. Is it possible that you could find the solution for me and tell it to me here?
I will ask tech support to read this topic and see if they will help without a ticket; in most cases, they need your in-game nickname to identify you account and some detail about your PC characteristics. Meanwhile try to check the game cache and redownloading the game.
I just verfied the game cache. That didn't help. I believe my in-game nickname is the same as my name here, on Steam. It's slow and aggravating to get into the game to check because I have to methodically move my mouse around until I finally find the buttons I need to click. I will make the effort if you really believe that the problem is somehow linked to my username.
I have an Intel i7 920, 6gb RAM, Win 7 64, AMD Radeon HD 7900, with the game installed on SSD.
Later today I will try to uninstall/reinstall and will report back if that succeeds.
Make sure you didnt customize the path where to install your game , if you change the directoryfrom where you insall it , this problem can might happen
Username is: the.celt
Thank you for checking back on this each day.
Also, for what it's worth, it may not be a general problem, but I'm also not the only one. When I first started trying to solve the problem, I did the usual ritual of Googling it. I found 2 or 3 questions asking the same thing, but no answer was ever given.
Thanks for the response, Ringlefinch. Steam installed it in the default location.
In WIndows Display settings, if I have my text size set to "Larger - 150%", and I'm in fullscreen, then my mouse cursor will not show up in menus and will not be moveable in the main game when I press CTRL.
If I move the settings down to "Medium -125%", then everything works fine. My mouse shows up in menus and is moveable in the main game.
I MUCH prefer to have my settings at "Larger -150%", so please fix this. Also, since I'm playiing on a 3440 x 1440 screen, please make the UI scaleable and allow me to increase font size. Everything is so tiny on my screen.
Wow, this problem has been hanging over my head for a long time. I'm so glad to figure it out and hope this helps someone else.
I see it's been about four months since this issue has been posted and resolved for you guys; but it's persistent for me, even with your recommendations. I just got the game yesterday and have had to keep alt+entering to go between full screen and windowed mode to get to click dialogue boxes and other things, except for the Ctrl option to select things on the UI. As I said, I've tried the windows display settings options and various resolutions in game and on my computer to no avail.
Please advise... thanks!
