You have to force the game to run on Direct X 9.1.
Go to your Windows settings and either click on or search for optional features and then search for "Graphic Tools", add. then restart your computer.
You can now execute "dxcpl" in Execute (Win + R to open). It will open the Direct X properties menu.
In "Scope", click on "Edit List...", then "..." to search for the game executable, and "Add". Now you can go back to the properties window, and on the bottom of it, you will now be able to change the "Feature level limit" in "Device Settings". Change to "9_1" and the glitch should be fixed!
Hope that helps!
