I can't start the game. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, no function. Can anyone help?

I had the same issue and if you don't understand German here is what I have done to get it running.

The game requires a legacy version of directX to be installed. DirectX is a software layer that is used by many games to get 'direct' access to GPU, Controllers and Audio devices.
The link (provided by @Milki) https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35 goes to the download page to install multiple legacy versions of directX. Not sure which one is actually needed. I downloaded/installed and checked that this works on a Windows 10 system.

I can imagine installing this on linux/proton is also possible but might require some tweaking. I will try to get it up and running on the Steam deck and provide the steps to install it.

Not working for me either, game launches however does not seem to load up correctly with regards to display

I GOT IT TO RUN

1. Went to https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35
2. Download latest version of DirectX End_User Runtime Web Installer
3. Run the downloaded file to install
4. It should work now!!!
