Report a translation problem
The developer is Étranges Libellules, which according to wikipedia, closed down in June 2012. They're not online anymore:
http://www.elb-games.com/ http://www.etranges-libellules.fr/ (both dead)
The publisher is Disney Interactive. I submitted a question to their support. Let's see if they have anything useful to do here. If the developer is out of business, my expectations are low.
Have you get a Crash-Report or any Idea what caused the Crash?
Maybe Its the same Problem i have with my Retail-Version
- I my Retail Version and can´t start it.
- I believe it´s was cause the game had an old Copy-Protection like SecuRom or StarForce.
Which so far as i know, are not or only partly compatible with Windows 10.
So i wonder if the Steam-Version of the use that to.

Not sure how would an end-user like me be able to use a crash report in any way...
Here's the final email from Disney support:

We don't really have a way of trying to test this on Windows 10 ourselves as all of our PC's in-house run off earlier versions of Windows (most using Windows 7). As the game is not actually designed to run on Windows 10 currently, we can't guarantee whether the game will work for you as we can only guarantee our titles on the OS versions they are designed for, even though we have seen some players successfully able to run the game on this OS.
If my previous suggestions have not been able to correct the issue for you, the only other option we can provide is for you to try installing and playing the game on one of the compatible OS versions for the game. That said, you may also be able to find further troubleshooting from other players in the Steam discussions page, just please be sure to keep in mind that any possible fixes provided by other players are not something that is officially recognized by our team at Disney Interactive. If you'd like to pursue this, the Steam discussions page can be found here:

In the meantime, we're still more than happy to help with any questions about the game so please don't hesitate to let us know if you require any additional assistance!
Best,
Morgan

My next steps is to try to run the game under Windows 7 in a VM. Hopefully it works.
So it can work on Windows 10 but there is no Guarantee. I guess it depeneds also to the Hardware.
That's interesting. Can you share some details about your hardware?
Mine:
- Intel i7 4770K CPU
- 16 GB RAM
- 512 GB SSD
- Radeon HD 7850 2 GB (with AMD Crimson drivers 16.7.3)
- Windows 10 Enterprise 64 bit
- Intel i7-6700 quadcore
- 8 GB RAM
- 200 GB SSD
- 2 TB HDD
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
- Windows 10 Home 64 bit
Instead, there will be a securom error.
To do that once you own the game click on the setting tab, then properties. The local files, click browse. It'll open the games folder. Right click the exe (or the run application is the same thing) make sure its checked and click properties. Once you are there click the compatibility tab and change it there! Dont mess with the fullscreen or video settings or the game loads like a bad acid trip lol
