Online Connection

Just started up the game for the first time. Is anyone else having trouble connecting to the online service in game? I wanted to start the Story mode but it is showing that I will earn 0 gold. I assume this is because I did not have a connection? Any input would be apperciated. Thanks

Being able to connect is currently the biggest issue the game has.

Correction: one server. Old hand-me-down pentium II's installed into a crusty pizza box, tucked away in the corner of Mark Rosewater's basement where he keeps all the fun prisoner.

Seems pretty bad right now. Usually I can get on after a dozen retrys, but just can't connect at all this afternoon.

I don't know if anyone can play just now, but a lot of people just started complaining at the same time. And it's funny, because players can't access the store while offline either. Every day this goes unpatched is literally money lost for the developers. Every time there's a long disconnect, someone will go write a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ review that causes new players to stay away. Existing players will find something else to do during the frequent and unplanned downtime, and then players will forget about this game entirely.
